RedAlert Mobile

Manage operations from your phone

RedAlert Mobile gives every firefighter, career or volunteer, a direct line into department operations. Log truck checks, edit NERIS reports, manage schedules, check gear, and stay connected to every call, all from one app that syncs instantly with RedAlert Desktop.

RedAlert Mobile is the field-facing layer of the RedAlert platform, built to let every member contribute to operations without needing access to the full desktop system. Truck checks, SCBA inspections, gear checks, and daily logs are completed from any phone or tablet and synced to RedAlert Desktop the moment they're submitted, no clipboards, no paper, no chasing down records at end of shift.

Incident documentation happens where the information is freshest: on scene. Firefighters fill out NERIS incident reports directly from their phones (attaching photos, taking attendance) and every report flows straight into the reporting pipeline, validated and ready to submit with no duplicate entry.

Common questions

What is the RedAlert Mobile app?

RedAlert Mobile is the field app for the RedAlert fire records platform. Firefighters use it to complete truck checks and gear inspections, file NERIS incident reports from the scene, message their department, and record training, with everything syncing live into RedAlert Desktop.

Can firefighters write NERIS reports from their phones with RedAlert Mobile?

Yes. Reports are completed directly in the app while details are fresh, including photos and attendance, and flow straight into the NERIS reporting pipeline with no duplicate entry or paper forms.

What's the difference between RedAlert Mobile and RedAlert Responder?

They're two halves of the same phone app, split so departments can buy only what they need. Responder is the alerting half: dispatch drops a call and it lights up every member's phone with the call details, routing, hydrants, and who's responding. Mobile is the operations half: truck checks, SCBA and gear inspections, daily logs, NERIS reports from the scene, training records, and department messaging. Plenty of departments run both. But if you're already using IamResponding, Active911, Chief360, or another alerting service and your members are used to it, you don't have to switch. Add Mobile for the field work and keep the alerting you have. Either way, everything lands in the same RedAlert Desktop database.
