Cookie Policy
This site uses cookies for three things: making our forms work, understanding which pages are useful, and measuring whether our advertising is worth the money. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles about you or to sell data to anyone. Here's exactly what is set, by whom, and how to turn it off.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things between page loads (that you already filled out a form, for example) and they let analytics tools tell a returning visitor from a new one. Some are set by us; most on this site are set by the third-party services we use. "Cookies" here also covers similar technologies like local storage and pixels.
What we use cookies for
Forms and customer relationship management (HubSpot)
Our demo request, contact, referral, webinar, and white paper forms are HubSpot forms. HubSpot sets cookies that let it identify a returning visitor, remember form submissions so you are not asked for the same information twice, and attribute an inquiry to the pages that led to it. Typical HubSpot cookies include hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc, and __hssrc.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages people read, how they arrived, and where they leave. This tells us which guides are worth writing more of. Typical cookies include _ga and _ga_<container id>. We use these for aggregate measurement, not to identify you personally.
Advertising measurement (Google Ads)
We advertise on Google. Conversion-tracking cookies tell us whether an ad click resulted in a demo request, so we can stop paying for advertising that does not work. Typical cookies include _gcl_au and related Google Ads identifiers. We use these to measure our own advertising performance.
Video (YouTube)
Product demonstrations and customer testimonials on this site are YouTube videos embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which means YouTube does not set tracking cookies simply because a page containing a video loaded. If you play a video, YouTube may set cookies at that point, under Google's own policies.
Fonts and hosting
We load one typeface from Google Fonts, which does not set cookies but does mean Google receives your IP address as part of the request. Our host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs. Neither sets advertising cookies.
Cookies at a glance
| Set by | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| HubSpot | Form functionality, visitor identification, inquiry attribution | Functional / analytics |

| YouTube | Video playback, only if you play a video | Functional / analytics |
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
- We do not use cookies to build behavioral advertising profiles for resale.
- We do not run third-party advertising networks, social media pixels, or session-recording tools on this site.
How to control cookies
- Your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, in Settings under Privacy. Blocking all cookies may stop our forms from working correctly.
- Google Analytics. Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Google advertising. Adjust or turn off ad personalization at Google My Ad Center.
- Do Not Track and global privacy signals. Browsers send these signals inconsistently and there is no common standard for honoring them, so we do not currently respond to them. If you want your information removed, email us and we will do it.
- Ask us directly. Email [email protected] to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you.
Changes to this policy
If we add or remove tools that use cookies, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date.
